Registration
Registration fees must be paid in advance.
A flat fee is charged for the entire Conference. There is no daily rate.

Delegates from countries affected by currency difficulties may apply for a reduced fee, or, in some cases, a fee-waiver, by submitting their case to the conference organisers: contact@esse2008.dk. Applications should preferably be made by 1 April, so that we are able to establish a provisional list before the early registration deadline of 1 May. Please wait for the result of your application before completing the online registration form.
Please note that neither the University of Aarhus nor ESSE can accept liability for travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred by convenors, co-convenors, or those invited to participate in round tables or seminars. Nor can the organisers of the conference take any responsibility for visas or other adminstrative issues that non-EU citizens may face when visiting Denmark, apart from supplying a hard-copy letter of confirmation (if requested) in the case of participants who have had a paper accepted for a seminar or round table. You are strongly advised to make you our own investigations to ensure that you will be admitted to Denmark, before sending your registration payment.
The registration fee includes the opening reception at the Town Hall on Friday, August 22nd.
Participants will be expected to pay for the following optional items:
- Lunches, which will be available in several of the Aarhus University canteens throughout the conference. The cost per person, per meal, will be around DKK 30 / EUR 4 + drinks.
- The Conference Dinner, which will take place on Monday, August 25th. The cost per person, including drinks, will be DKK 300 / EUR 40.
